除夕用英语可以说:

Chinese new year’s eve 除夕

除夕之夜可以说:the night of new year’eve

Eve的名词含义有这两个：

<1>前夕；傍晚

christmas eve 圣诞节前夕（12月24日）

on the eve 前夜

on the eve of 在…的前夜

new year’s eve 除夕

<2>重大事件关头

它的形容词eventful就表示“多事的；重要的；多变故的；重大的”。
